Quote of the Day: “It can hardly be a coincidence that no language on earth has ever produced the expression, 'As pretty as an airport.” ― Douglas Adams
I cannot say that I have enjoyed the journey, but without it, I could not appreciate the friends and support waiting for me when I arrived. Some journeys are to be endured because of where they take you--this was one of those. Thirty hours sitting in a small airplane seat with a broken tailbone which makes sitting anywhere painful was just not fun, but I did it because I said I would--and will again. It is so good to be back in Boston where I had so many wonderful memories. I meet with an old friend, professor, and former dean tomorrow as well as a committee to help set up an internship program with our mission in Bunda. I had friends waiting for me when I arrived with a coat (much needed) who took me to eat a steak (also much needed). Then they took me to an Apple store where they bought me a connector I needed to show my slides to the folks at the University. At the Apple store, we met an African-American man named Aaron who is interested in bringing his family to Tanzania to do mission work. God moves in mysterious ways--but only mysterious to us.
