Quote of the Day: “Thank God for the Coptic Hospital in Musoma.” ― Karen, Charles, and John
Karen went to see the doctor at the Coptic Missionary Hospital in Musoma today, and it's a good thing she did. She blew her nose last week and managed to burst an eardrum which then became infected. Dr. Ehab knew just what to do and what medicines to prescribe and will see her again next week. They have been so good to us and refuse to let us pay for their services or medications there. We have provided them with Bibles for their church, mosquito nets for their wards, and biosand filters for their water needs, but we would have done that anyway. They say we are all serving God and servants shouldn't charge other servants. It was Dr. Ehab who saw that Karen needed to go to Arusha which led to her trip to Nairobi that saved her life, so we can't say enough good things about them. They took care of John when he was so sick, and they diagnosed my diabetes and prescribed the medication and weight loss that got it under control. These are all Egyptians who are working out of the Nairobi diocese under Bishop Paul, whom I have met and liked. We say prayers for them every day. Please join us.
