Quote of the Day: “With one kind gesture you can change a life. One person at a time you can change the world. One day at a time we can change everything.” ― Steve Maraboli
Today, Karen spent all day getting her school back up and running with all the materials they will need for the coming year. It meant several hours making copies in town and working with the teachers. While it was very tiring for her, it was also very exhilarating. She realizes every now and then that none of this would be here if it wasn't for her and her passion and her vision. It doesn't take much to make a big difference in this world, but it does take commitment and desire and my sweet wife has both of those. John had a meeting with the national phone company, TTCL, yesterday to tell them of an idea he had and is working on with an old friend back in the States. TTCL was excited about it and once again offered John a full-time job as soon as he becomes a Tanzanian citizen (in about two years). I did little today except pay bills and payroll which is important if a tad boring. Our Australian friends and fellow missionaries are driving here from Nairobi today and should get in late tonight. We will go greet them tomorrow.
