Quote of the Day:   We must always remember the children.  We have no option.  Today--they are our tomorrow.   Me

Unusually quiet today with the afternoon class of children gone.  The morning class will end on Friday and resume in January which will make it even quieter.  We really get used to hearing the kids laughing, learning, and singing.  It won't be long until they're back.  A missionary in Musoma ordered two filters, so I suggested we send them next Tuesday.  He reminded me that next Tuesday is Christmas.  How quickly we forget.  I read Facebook posts about how excited people are about Christmas approaching, but here, it is easy to forget it is even going to occur.  This weekend, Karen, John, and I will watch "Polar Express," "A Christmas Carol," "It's  a Wonderful Life," and any other Christmas movie we can find.  We are trying to track down a turkey or a ham, but we really don't have much hope.  In the last eight years, we have found one turkey and two hams which is not a good sign.  Still, we hope.
