Quote of the Day: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.” ― Dr. Seuss
Twas' the day after Christmas, and we are all back at work. I helped a man who needed funds to send his two boys to high school. He says they are very bright. I told him as long as they made good grades, I would pay their way through government school ($35 a year versus $400 a year at boarding schools). Couldn't have given him a better gift. He is re-thatching our house right now. Paid for medicine for a little girl with malaria. Made the final tuition payment for a girl finishing nursing school. Karen is still working on a mural of a child's face out in the new kitchen. John is working on computer stuff and changing a world--somewhere where the Star Trek's Enterprise still travels. Rain every day and delivering two biosand filters tomorrow in Musoma so that 60 more people can have safe, clean water. We are going to no after Christmas sales and taking nothing back that we were given. We do not miss this. You are blessed if you'll just look around and recognize your blessing. Trust me, you really are blessed.
