Quote of the Day: “It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” ― Mother Teresa
Got our package today which takes some of the edge off our being without internet for three days now. Not just us, but everyone around us as well. We had to go to Musoma and take the local customs man to his boss to straighten out our tax payment on the package. They apologized profusely and basically told us we would be paying 50% of whatever the value is marked on the postal slip. If you mark that the value is ten dollars then we will pay five, so please don't mark anything north of $100 or we may have to leave it at the post office. Ten to twenty dollars seems to be a good number for them and that is good for us as well. Everyone is happy here this afternoon. Karen got a lot of art supplies (water colors, paper, brushes, etc.) and is very happy. She also got a small, pink Swiss army knife which she said she deserved. John got a Monty Python tee shirt that he loved. I got some tee shirts, a book on mission, a new case for my iPad, and some artificial sweetener for my diabetes. We love getting packages. It takes a month or more to get them to us, but just knowing one is coming makes us happy. Thank you to everyone who has sent us supplies and presents. It really makes our day. Thank you again.
