Quote of the Day: Big gifts can come in small cardboard boxes. Me
We got our package today and, under the new system, it cost about ten times more than before, but it was still just around $10.00 so not bad.
John finally got his birthday presents (from September 5th) of a monster Swiss army knife and a pocket watch. He's been wanting a big Swiss army knife since he was in Boy Scouts, so today, he is a happy camper. Karen got a new solar watch that's much easier for her to read. I got some artificial sweetener and sugar free peanut brittle 'cause of my diabetes. Also included was a Star Wars board game (another present for John), some small flashlights, and rechargeable batteries with a recharger. Two of these flashlights with LED bulbs will be used by our night security guards. My daughter-in-law, Brenda, packaged and sent the stuff and used a child's tee shirt as packing. That tee shirt made Shaban's little boy, Hemedi, another very happy camper. Thank you very much, Miss Brenda, for our Christmas in October surprise.
