Quote of the Day:  If to her share some female errors fall, Look on her face, and you'll forget them all. -- Alexander Pope

The young woman who is helping us while Lusi is out on maternity leave is a beautiful 20-year-old named, Howa.  She is as thin as a broomstick because she is an orphan who was born with HIV.  She is such a sweet girl and works so hard it breaks my heart to ask her to do anything, but she wants to please.  Who knows what she has already suffered, yet her outlook is sunny, and she is always smiling.  She never misses church and is a devout Christian, probably a better one than I am.  What a terrible thing HIV/Aids is and what terrible horror it has inflicted on millions of African women.  Howa is such a wonderful witness for her faith.  I wish I could do more for her, but for now we are trying to get her into Bunda Teacher's College for the spring term or next fall at the least.  She wants to go and to teach for as many years as she can.  I pray she gets to do it.  She is a blessing.  Thank you Lord, for the roses that bloom amidst the thorns.
