Quote of the Day: If God’s love is for anybody anywhere, it’s for everybody everywhere. - Edward Lawlor
John, Alice, and Shaban went far out in the bush to visit Karikakari. John doused for a well and confirmed the original site. He also laid out a soccer field and will be bringing goal posts and nets before long in his quest to make sure every Methodist church has a soccer team, a well, a preschool, and a sewing center (PEWS for Play, Education, Well, and Sewing). John says all our churches need PEWS, and he is going to try to make it happen in all thirty of them. The church at Karikakari now has a preschool and will soon have a well and a soccer field. If we can raise just $600, we can get them a sewing machine and uniforms for the soccer team, so that is our goal for that church. Alice read a story about a Tanzanian boy to the children and they almost loved her to death. She donated the book to the preschool (giver that she is). There are pictures of Alice, John, and Karen at the sanitation and hygiene seminary you can view if you click on the picture at right. When they got back, they delivered three filters to the Baptist church and Baptist pastor's home. Alice's visit has been a very good one for the expansion of the Kingdom. We are blessed to have had her--she goes back on Monday but plans to return next year. We will be ready and waiting.
