Quote of the Day:   “Give sorrow words; the grief that does not speak knits up the o-er wrought heart and bids it break.” ― William Shakespeare

Alice got the sad news last night that her father had died after a long battle with cancer.  She cannot get home in time for the funeral (in another state) and so will stay on here.  She told us there is nothing she can do now for her earthly father but there is still much she can do here for her heavenly father.  Of course, she is grieving, but she is still working as well.  We all grieve differently, and I think she is grieving in a very healthy way.  The people here are well acquainted with grief and can give her much comfort.  Remember her and her family in your prayers, please.
