Quote of the Day: Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds you plant - Robert Louis Stevenson.
Found out today that the bricks (mud in forms) being removed from our soccer field are not for sale but to begin building a parsonage for the pastor. Nothing here is as it seems--everything has a little different twist. It's like my father used to say, "No matter how thin you pour the pancake, it's going to have two sides." So very true. Internet troubles seem to have solved themselves--at least for today. My doctor should be back from Dar Es Salaam this week and may begin new meds to help with the plumbing problem. Like everything else here--we'll see. Our friend Alice from South Carolina is leaving the U.S. on Wednesday and will be here Saturday afternoon in Mwanza. Lots for her to do including preaching at the Baptist church and working with two sanitation and hygiene seminars. She is also bringing us a lot of stuff only available in the U.S. (like Chapstick, garlic salt, and other spices). We are very excited about her coming and will love to be able to speak "American" for a couple of weeks. The school is going well as is the new Caryn Pierce pre-school. God is good--all the time.
