Quote of the Day:  Little things are indeed little, but to be faithful in little things is a great thing.  - Mother Teresa

When the doctor was treating me yesterday, he told me he was very grateful to be able to help.  Why grateful, I asked?  He said because all over Bunda people say such wonderful things about the Americans, the man, his wife, and his son who are living here just to be of service to God.  He said that we were beloved by the people for all the things we have been doing here.  He mentioned the wheelchairs for the disabled but mostly the sanitation and hygiene seminars.  He told me that this year was the first since he came here six years ago that there was not a single case of cholera--down from nine deaths a year in 2006.  So, to all those who helped teach, plan, pay for, and pray for the sanitation and hygiene seminars--thank you from the people of Bunda whose lives you have saved.  It is very difficult to save the soul of one who is already dead.  Teaching one child to wash his/her hands is a little thing, but to teach that little thing is a great thing.  See quote above.
