Quote of the Day: Speak tenderly to them. Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting. Always have a cheerful smile. Don't only give your care, but give your heart as well. - Mother Teresa
I don't think Karen realized how much work the cute ideas she had for the uniforms was going to be. She has been sewing for two full days now after spending a full day ripping the shoulder seams out of the shirts. She is putting epaulettes on each shoulder and the girls will have a sash put through one shoulder. The uniforms are going to be tremendous, and many others are going to come to her to have her do them for their schools. Already, the ladies from the Bunda Methodist Church want Karen to teach them sewing basics so they can make money for the school and the church. No rest for the weary. When she gets the uniforms finished, she will begin classes for the ladies. Then other churches will find out and start bringing more ladies in for her to teach. Just proves that no good deed goes unpunished. Don't get me wrong, she, like John, understands what "good tired" means. She loves it, just wishes she had more energy and less pain. Well, don't we all.
