Quote of the Day:  There is a terrible hunger for love. We all experience that in our lives - the pain, the loneliness. We must have the courage to recognize it. The poor you may have right in your own family.  Find them.  Love them.  -  Mother Teresa

Lusi was back today although her boy was still sick.  Malaria symptoms last for three days even if you have medication.  He'll be better tomorrow.  For the first time since we've been here, we just ran completely out of cash.  Don't know how exactly that happened, but in a world without ATM machines and credit cards with your bank in another town, this can be a very bad thing.  Happily, John and Shaban had planned a trip to Musoma today, so I gave a check to Shaban who cashed it at the bank and brought enough cash back to get us through another month, maybe with better planning this month.  Some neighbors came for help yesterday and I had to tell them to come back today.  They did and I was able to help them, so that turned out all right.  Around the world, hundreds of millions live without credit cards, ATM machines, and bank accounts.  For the majority of the world's populace, if you have no cash, you have no food.  Period.  Think about it.
