Quote of the Day: “Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment; full effort is full victory.” - Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
The quote above was good enough to use for two days. Pastor Festo from the Karikakari circuit came by today to report on his churches. All have a minimum of forty adults and thirty children, so for his five churches that's over 200 adults and 150 children which is wonderful. I have baptized 125 of the adults and at least 50 of the children which makes me happy indeed. The church at Muranda has finished its building and as soon as the roads dry out and become passable, we will make the trip to take pictures. Also waiting for the rains to end, the church at Kabainja is waiting to start on a foundation for its building. I was there for the first service at that church two years ago and baptized over 70 people on that morning. Wow, what a day that was. After I baptized them, they each went to Karen who blessed them and kissed them. They were very happy. The well at Karikakari is down to fifty feet but the water still eludes them. Festo is confidant that the water is at 65 feet, but that's another $150 worth of digging. As soon as he can, John is going to go out there and douse to see if there is indeed water at that spot. Jerry taught us well (pun intended).
