Lusi went home with a bad back this morning--I hope she didn't catch it from me.  Shaban finished the first twenty biosand filters bound for an orphanage and a vocational school for the poor.  Picture at right. The total order is thirty-five, so we still have fifteen more to go and will finish those sometime next week.  In the meantime, we have a community well at our mission, but the pump has broken countless times and it always takes a week or two to get it fixed.  The pump was an invention of a visitor from America who made the first one, but since he's not around, we have to figure out to fix it.  It gets broken because the neighbors send their kids to pump the water and they play on it and don't use it properly.  Well, John is putting an industrial strength, professional pump in place that the kids can't break.  Hopefully, we will have it in place in a few days.  Watch for pictures.
