Delivered another new bicycle today to an evangelist in the Busega area. This means the Word will be reaching many more ears that we pray will hear. It only took about twenty minutes to deliver the bicycle, but in order to do it, I had to travel to the U.S. to raise the money for the bicycles, had to arrange for the money to be exchanged, arrange the purchase and assembly of the bicycle, arrange its delivery to Maisha Na Maji, and then take twenty minutes to get it into the hands of the evangelist. It is worth all of that, of course. A new bicycle for an evangelist here is like giving a good horse to Francis Asbury as he rode all through the colonies telling people of Jesus and His power. A Bible and a bicycle for every evangelist here is my goal and we are soon approaching that. We have about seven more to deliver for this year. Next year, some will have been stolen and we will have some new evangelists in new areas. We will always need money for bicycles, but they are only about $100 each, so it is money well spent. Thank you very much to all who have contributed to our mission and especially for the Bibles and bicycles. Well done, good and faithful servants.
