Spent the day being driven around by my son--still no driver's license--doing errands that needed to be done about three years ago. Still, got them done. Went into a big grocery store and was just blown away by all the food, the variety, the fresh vegetables, and the size of the thing. Wanted to buy some of everything we can never get in Tanzania but limited myself to celery and pork chops (which were delicious). There are lots of people here and more cars than I think I have ever seen. Was also surprised at how cheap gasoline was--less than half of what we pay.
