Power has been out for fifteen hours, but only in the Chiringe area of Bunda where we live. It seems a transformer blew up and a new one is on the way from Musoma. Thank God for our generator and for getting the isolation switch fixed last week. We live in the Beverly Hills area of Bunda. All the roofs are made of metal and at least three houses have electricity. That makes us pretty uptown. If you can easily walk from one house with power to another that has power, you are living in an upscale area. Of course, if the power is out--we are all equal again. However, if the power in you comes from God, it doesn't go out, and it keeps you going when you don't think you can anymore. Good thing, too.
