It's Christmas Eve here and it is as quiet as it was in Bethlehem so long, long ago. Because there are no city lights, the stars are especially bright. We gaze upward perhaps as some shepherds did on this night of Jesus's birth. We don't see the star that guided the wise men, but we see the wonderment of God's work in the heavens. We pray that this night, you, too, will see the wonder of this Holy night. May God grant you peace and great joy, for the babe that was born to bring life and light into the darkness of our world. You will be in our hearts as we drift off to sleep tonight. We pray that we will be in yours.
