Lots going on: Paul is getting married, so we gave him three weeks off and a substantial gift to help with the festivities, Amos's father is coming home from the hospital today--we had to help pay off his bill or they wouldn't discharge him. The pastor of Lamadi came by today and we are buying a hand-crank bicycle for a disabled boy in the church there and helped the pastor with getting his eyes examined (bus fare and doctors fees for Mwanza). Every day, every one of us has opportunities to help someone who can do nothing for us, but the helping itself does good things for us. It just feels good. After going without pork for about six years, a man showed up today who lives in a nearby village and raises hogs. He slaughters one every Saturday and now we are on his bicycle delivery route for bacon and ham at about a dollar a pound and couldn't be fresher. Thanksgiving leftovers for meals today--one of the best parts of Thanksgiving. We are truly blessed, may God bless each of you and fill you with His love and grace.
