Karen has managed to combine malaria with a bad chest cold. The doctor has just left after giving her a pile of medicines to take. Needless to say, she won't be able to do her part at the sanitation and hygiene workshop tomorrow. Her topic--the life cycle of the mosquito and malaria. Shaban is better and should be back tomorrow. It seems like one of us always has malaria. It is not good. Oh, and for those who don't know all our staff, let me add that Juliana (Jita tribe) has been with us for over five years now. Amos (Sukuma), Lusi (Jita), Edina (Sukuma), and Samson (Sukuma) have all been with us for four years. Paul (also Sukuma) has been with us for three years. We worked with Shaban (Ikuzu tribe) on our very first visit here over seven years ago. Bwana Masele (also Sukuma) has been working with us since our visit in 2004. We have been blessed with those who work with us and for us.
