Back to the daily grind. Back to Musoma for rear shocks--now new ones all the way round. Had to stop for President Kikwete's motorcade. It took twenty minutes to pass by. More time spent at the bank starting the process for internet banking with our bank in Musoma. It will take a week or so but will be well worth it. Still have to go back on Thursday to transfer $500 to the Christian Council of Tanzania to make sure the Methodist Church in Tanzania is still listed as a member. Dues are $250 a year, and I have paid for the three years 2006, 2007, and 2008. Now have to pay for 2009 and 2010. This is part of the church politics I try to avoid, but it is important to have our church recognized nationally. I have to transfer the funds from bank to bank to make sure we have receipts that can't be questioned. John and Karen go back to the dentist on Wednesday in Mwanza. Bishop Monto is interested in starting a correspondence Bible College based here at Maisha Na Maji with me as Principal, Professor, Janitor, Chief Cook, and bottle washer. It will mean students coming here for a week or two once every six months, and, in two years, will provide certification for our pastors. We are looking into it.
