Bishop Monto spent the night with us and shared breakfast before he traveled on to Musoma. We have had some trouble with the local Bunda circuit pastor and he has been put on probation for two months to resolve some issues with his wife. The guest preacher tomorrow is a student whose Bible college fees I have been paying for the past two years. I learned from Bishop Monto that he is the highest ranked student in the college and an excellent preacher. He came by today to get next term's fees 150,000 Tsh (about $120) and told me he has been elected president of the student body at the Bible college. Sometimes, the good things you do turn out well. They don't always, but that is no reason to stop trying. You do learn not to reward dishonesty, but I was very proud to pay Sylvester's fees today. Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God. Micah said that--chapter six if you're interested.
