Home at last. Boy, it is good to be back in sunny, warm Bunda. Karen worked all week getting the house beautiful for me. She has a new, huge mosquito net in our bedroom with decorations on it. It looks like one of those luxury tented camps in the Serengeti. Picked up some new shock absorbers in Mwanza. On these roads, you replace shocks at least once a year. Tomorrow, there is a celebration in Karekukari to thank God for the end of the drought and a good harvest. Karen and John are going. Will post pictures when I get them. Little Charlini came running out to hug me when I got home. This is the first time she has showed that much emotion being pretty shy. I was told she cried when I left. It is good to be home.
