Yesterday, ten students who now know English graduated from the school here. The school motto is "Elimu ni Uhuru" or Education Is Freedom. All students had at least one parent in attendance and many had several family members watching. John took pictures of each student, and, thanks to a gift from David and Ginny, was able to print the pictures right away and give them to the graduates. Karen got a call today to set up a sanitation and hygiene workshop in Musoma for the Anglican church. I met with Pastor Festo to deal with some issues of his six churches. He left a happy man, and I like it when that happens. Pete called me today to confirm that Selian Hospital in Arusha can deal with my pinched nerve if I can get there, so we'll see. It would be nice to be pain free after almost two months of suffering. Karen and John are leaving now for the graduation ceremonies at the Bunda Teacher's College where we will have eight scholarship students graduating. This makes twenty-four Christian teachers trained thanks to money sent by a Methodist church in Arkansas. Thanks to all who have helped with this scholarship project.
