Things did not go well on Sunday. John, Karen, Paul, and Shaban were all on hand but everything was sabotaged by the women's group. Our four left and never saw anyone official. Suffice it to say that we are now looking for a new woman's group to work with filter sales. We will assist the other one to do whatever they want on their own with their own money, but we will no longer subsidize them. We are hiring a new cook for the school and when guests come, and we are hiring a new teacher to help with Karen's school. We are working hard to do all things out of love, but as Christ himself said in Matthew 10:14, there comes a time to shake the dust off your sandals and move on. I am still an invalid confined to my chair or the bed, but I can still do a fair amount of work in spite of the pain. Bishop Monto is coming today for a meeting, and we hope to plan a sanitation and hygiene workshop for all the wives of the pastors and evangelists here at Maisha Na Maji. Keep the mission in your prayers.
