More sad news. Rev. Clint Rabb, director of Individual Volunteer Missionaries (Karen, John, and I are in this group) for the United Methodist Church, died of his wounds, sustained in rescue efforts in Haiti, in a hospital in Florida. Two of the three in Haiti are now dead. The third, Jim Gulley, is still there working. Our prayers are with him and with the family and friends of Rev. Rabb. The flesh may be weak, but the Spirit is strong. Our work and mission continue all over the world. We each do what we can, where we are, with what we have. God asks no more of us than daily obedience and availability. May we each respond to the needs of God's children as best we can with strong hearts and confidence in God's strength.
