Today is Tanzanian Independence Day, when they kicked the British out and began to rule themselves. Sound familiar? Most things are closed, but Karen's students showed up for class. Shaban brought John a computer server to test, so he is busy. My leg seems to be getting worse, so I will be going to the hospital in Musoma on Friday. They may do antibiotics by IV. We'll see. Need to refill the propane tank anyway. The car has its primer coat, but it has rained every day since. A couple of sunny days would help. We are listening to Christmas music, and it is not reminding us of malls or Christmas parties but rather the day itself. It is nice. We have music from Bing Crosby and Rosemany Clooney all the way to Mannheim Steamroller and Johnny Cash. Thanks to all who sent us the CD's; we are really enjoying them. God bless.
