Paul's little sister graduated from secondary school yesterday, so we had the whole family--about twenty or thirty people--here for the celebration. They had three cakes that they would cut and serve about once an hour. The party went from ten in the morning to around six in the evening. Everybody was so polite and thankful for our hospitality. It was the least we could do. Today it is scorching hot, so I guess we will have a terrific rainstorm tonight. When it gets this hot, we have to make sure there is gasoline for the generator. Two nights ago, a lightning strike took the power out for almost twenty hours. Still, they do get it back up as soon as they can. All things considered, it's not too bad.
