Today, drove to Musoma to see about renewing our residence permits at immigration. Then to Social Security to work out details for paying for our workers each month. Then to try to pick up the hand-powered wheel chair (come back Monday, we are told) while John negotiates with our internet provider. Changes are coming as soon as September, but we could be offline for quite a while. Karen bought mosquito screen and grills for the windows in her school, and we replaced a tank of propane (this time, I didn't try to help). Shopped in the non-African store for ketchup and stuff and then back home. Quite a day and tiring as I did it all while running a fever. Got home and breathed smoke the rest of the day as our neighbors are firing their bricks. This will take a few days.
