We had a visitor Friday.  A very old, very short, very determined woman came to see if we could help her see.  Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas, sent us a lot of prescription glasses and some reading glasses.  We invited folks from all over to come and try them until they found some that worked.  We cautioned them that if headaches developed, they had the wrong glasses.  It is almost impossible to get glasses here, and many people have spent many years seeing only through a fuzzy haze if they could see at all.  What we do isn't a very exact science, but it helps so many people that we do it whenever we can.  The gift of sight is truly a gift from God.
