Friday was perhaps the most significant health and sanitation seminar that has been taught here.  It was taught in the center of a group of five villages where cholera had killed over eight people and sickened many.  The women were eager to learn how to get clean water, how to keep their babies alive, how to stop the cycle of contagion, and they got good answers.  Shaban and Jerry talked about filters, and Amy with Bishop Monto and evangelist Lista did the rest.  The villages are only about 20 kilometers from here, but it took almost an hour to get there.  I can say with a lot of confidence that many lives will be saved by that seminar and the gift of mosquito nets.  We just can't say enough good things about Jerry, Amy, and all those who have traveled far to come here to help.  We know God will bless them, and they have much treasure in heaven for what they have given here.
